Lessons, series and packages

Set the series once. Credits count themselves.

Book a lesson from your Today page: rider, horse, time. A weekly series fills the calendar. Mark each rider Present or Absent right on Today. Each package lesson takes a credit, and the rider sees what's left.

  • Private and group lessons, with each rider's horse
  • Attendance in one tap per rider, on Today
  • A lesson the barn cancels gives the credit back

Care queue and Complete & Charge

Overdue first. Billable work billed.

Feedings, turnout, meds, farrier and vet visits for your horses, overdue first. Tap it done, or Done all for a round. Complete & Charge bills a billable task in the same tap, at the barn's price.

  • Overdue, then due today, then later
  • Done all for a round that's due
  • Skip or snooze with a note or a photo
The care queue on a phone: overdue and due-today tasks, each with a round complete button.

Late cancellations

Late cancels pay. Excused absences don't.

One window for every rider. Outside it, no charge. Inside it, the late-cancel rate. A no-show pays the full rate; an excused absence, nothing.

  • The same rule for every rider
  • Each charge says which rule applied
  • If the barn cancels, nobody pays

Texting

Book it, charge it, check it off. By text.

Text the barn's number. Rein reads it back, and nothing changes until YES. Care done by text isn't billed; use Complete & Charge for billable work.

  • Only what they're allowed

Owners, managers, trainers and instructors can text commands; barn hands can't. A text does only what that person can do in the app.

  • Yours to turn off

Staff commands are one switch in Settings, on by default. Customers can reply STOP to any text.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What trainers and instructors ask before their barn switches.

Do I sign up myself?

Your barn invites you and gives you a role. You sign in with your own email and password. If you run the lesson program yourself, you can set up the barn.

Can I see what my clients owe?

No, unless your barn gives your role that permission. Staff screens show lessons, horses and care, not balances or invoices.

What happens when a rider cancels late?

If your barn has a cancellation policy turned on, a cancellation inside the window is charged the late-cancel rate, a no-show the full rate, and an excused absence nothing.

How do packages and punch cards work?

The barn sells a package, say ten lessons. Each lesson the rider takes uses one credit, and the rider sees what's left in their own portal.

Can I text instead of opening the app?

Yes. Staff texting commands are on unless your barn turns them off in Settings. Text what you need, Rein repeats it back, and nothing changes until you reply YES. You can only do what your role lets you do in the app.

Only the horses I work with?

Yes. Trainers and barn hands see the horses they're assigned, and their care.

Bring it to your barn.

Rein is set up by the barn, and your barn invites you. Send your barn owner the page written for them.
